The Draft of Milton

Well the past few days have been filled with challenges.  The projects in Comp and Legal aspects classes have me worn out.  I finally got my draft into the drop-box 3 hours before the deadline.  I think I would be better off taking two math classes.  I have not had time to participate in the Comp discussions at all.  I am barely going to make getting this blog in.  Hope things will coast for a few weeks.  Need the breather

Class assignment "If there is one thing about your academic challenge, what would it be?

Grade wise I am doing fine.  I excel in the classes that have practical applications to Health Information.  Although most jobs I have had have been OJT (on the job training) with some schooling.  The one thing I do miss is applying what I have learned right away in a work setting.  This is the first time I have taken the schooling way before the actual job.  Academic writing is my greatest challenge.  I have had to write in my various position I have held.  It was always within a short time frame, on a subject I knew well.  I am used to writing under the gun, my creative juices are really flowing.  I think the type of writing required in this class is way too restrictive for my style of writing.  Too many rules and also there is a grade involved.  Right now my paper sounds to informative.  I wish I could switch subjects from my comp classes.  Most people are interested in the subject.  I guess I will find out when I turn in my first draft.

Correction

Sorry Ray Bradbury for publishing your untimely death.  Ray Bradbury is alive and is 90 years old.  I may have been thinking of Issac Asimov.  Dang now I got to go check to make sure he isn't alive.
